About Michelle

Michelle Silverman, a Realtor for over 16 years, is one of those rare people, a native San Diegan; leaving San Diego only long enough to receive a BA in sociology from UCLA. She is also a second generation realtor. Both of her parents are real estate brokers who at one time owned their own company.

After graduation, Michelle owned her own retail ready-to-wear business for seven years. There she learned about customer service and discovered that customer satisfaction plays a key role in establishing loyal clients. She brings that same caring philosophy to her relationships with her real estate clients.

For over 20 years Michelle and her husband Scott have lived in La Jolla and raised their two daughters. Jessica is in college, while her younger daughter Gracie is at La Jolla High School. Her husband, Scott, is founder and executive director of Second Chance/Strive, which creates opportunities for self-sufficiency by providing job readiness training, employment placement, affordable housing and life skills for homeless and unemployed men, women and youth. Community involvement plays an important role in her life and that of her family.

Michelle is a very successful agent. She works with a personal transaction coordinator and a team of affiliates – title officers, inspectors, stagers, painters, contractors and more – to guide you through every step of the home buying or selling process.
